Jesse eventually escapes this nightmare world with the help of her supernatural buddy Polaris and the FBC-overseers, The Board, and she shuts down the projector, closing the connection between the unidentified Hiss realm and The Oldest House. This leads to the first end credit sequence, which leads to an alternate world where Jesse is trapped in the Oldest House as an FBC bureaucrat.
